  Stout Regular
Score
7.10
ABV: 5.9% IBU: - Ticks: 78
The ABV of this beer changed from 7.4% in late 2020, and it has since been introduced into the Vocation core range.

The recipe for Naughty & Nice remains exactly the same as always except that we have dialled back the ABV to 5.9% now that it’s going to be with us year-round. Reducing the ABV increases the drinkability – it’s still a hefty beer, but just that bit more quaffable.

Can from the brewery’s online shop. Black body with a thick beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour of fig, chocolate and toffee. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Sweet and slightly tangy. Sweet and chocolatey.

Can at home. Dark brown to black color, virtually no head. Aroma is well...faint. maybe too cold. Probably too cold. Maybe I'll get some more aroma later. Flavor is malts, a bit sugary, milk chocolate, sweetish. Overall pretty nice though.

440ml can from Asda - Dark blackish body, deep thick tan head. Nose is a roasted concoction of coffee, nuts and dark chocolate. Taste is quite tasty, roasted and burnt notes, but eased with a sweetness.

Appearance is nearly black, with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, nutty malt, toffee, biscuit, hints of vanilla and dark fruit. Taste is chocolate malt, coffee, caramel biscuit, earthy malt, chocolate cake. Quite sweet, good.

Very dark brown with thin head. Hard to believe this is so highly rated. It is way too sweet. Completely out of balance. Lactose overload. Not really chocolatey.

Can. Dark red/brown with a fading tan cap. Aroma of chocolate, roast, liquorice, grass, hints of berries. Sweet chocolate and berries but not cloying. Not much more than a wink at bitterness at the end. Lacks a bit of definition but pretty good.

440ml can from Asda: BB 28th March 2023. Drank at home on 27th May 2022. Beige foaming head on a black body. Chocolate front to the nose and taste, would have liked to have tried the stronger version; this was rich enough though and had a decent body depth, even if it wasn't viscous or 'slick'.

Cask@Craft Clerkenwell - black with a tan head. Dark sweet and just light roasted malty, loads of thick sweet creamy chocolate, nice soft cask mouthfeel and body, lingering chocolate finish. Nice.
