Handpull cask at the Crossing, Burton. Light to mid-gold, clear. Small white head with a shitload of lacing. Spicy hop in the aroma, some resin, white chocolate, butter. Sweet taste, mostly malt focused with a good dollop of astringent hop in the long finish. Not particularly exciting but quaffable enough.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have very light fruity hop notes. This is certainly a far better alternative for a mass produced lager. Ultimately though, a poor pale ale.

Cask pint in The Bear, Bridgnorth Shropshire on 16th Feb 2018. Pale golden body, clean and clear, on top a white crown. Hop centric with piney and citrus notes evident in both the aroma and taste. The malts take a backward step in this brew, decent bitterness from start to finish, liked it.

Cask at RHS Harlow Carr Beer & Cider Festival. An amber pour with a thick white head; deep citrusy aroma with some pine in the background; big grapefruit taste; then some aromatic resinous hops in the finish. A refreshing beer, full of flavour.

Cask, 4.3 % abv, hand-pulled at the brewpub. Stable white head, spotty lacing to the upper level of the glass. Clear golden body. Hop fruity aroma, hints of citrus shells. Flavour of grapefruit and lemon offset by subdued malty sweetness. Mild, dry citrus peels to the ending. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Moreish stuff (Huddersfield 09.07.2014).
