This series of four herbal beers is dedicated to the seasons. Each beer stands for a particular season, so you can drink your way through the year. In spring we foraged dandelions, which lend the beer its flowery aroma and pithy bitterness. This blend matured on average 10 month in red wine barrels.

Unclear golden, tiny bubbly ring. Sour grains, wet hay, stone fruit, tangerine, old popcorn, herbs, a bit sickly and slimey. Begins a bit dank & dirty but definitely clears up after given some air, fruity and nettly. Medium sour, light bitter. Soft carb.

Bottle shared. Slight hazy golden with no real head. Weird aroma of roasted meat, dandelions, sweet malts, red wine, sweat, apricot, lemon rind. Medium sweet, lighter sour. Solid medium bodied, flat. OK beer, but smells a bit weird and would benefit from some carbonation. Opens up a bit after a while.

21 August 2021. At Gents Bierfestival. Cheers to the Ghent beer crew! Clear yellow, no head. Aroma of plum, gooseberry, citrus peel, sourdough, spices, oak. Taste has sour plum, berries & citrus, sweetish apple, quite bready, yeasty, bit spicy. Tart, fruity finish, mostly citrus, some 'tannic' grapes, herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Nice brew, can't really put my finger on it but that's not a bad thing I suppose.

Bottle sample during Gents Bierfestival '21 - shared with Tderoeck.

Kemker Tasting live: cloudy, amber golden color and almost no head. Vinous nose, citric-fruity, herbal. Taste starts herbal-tart, peachy fruityness, floral flavors. Some Christmas apples/fruity-herbal finish. Just faint bitterness. Low carbonation, very well balance, nice cask.
