Can split at L6 'zo fucken hote' tasing, thanks to Kenny, 13/07/22. Black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is liquorice, dark fruit rinds, chocolate, molasses, spice, booze fumes. Taste comprises chocolate pudding, booze, pinch of spice, toasted brown sugars, fruit cake mix, prunes, dates, light roasted bite, burnt toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good blast of alcohol. Solid stuff ... well balanced ... boozey for sure but never silly sweet or too chewy.

Sample (thanks fonefan1). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is nutty, some roasted and liquorice tones with a wee bit of alcohol too. Flavour is fruity, floral, some slight toffeeish and mild wooden and toasted tones. Alcohol kicks in when it gets warmer, and gives a rather warming finish to the beer.

Level 6 tasting. Can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, tiny tan head. A pretty light palate for the abv, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Big chocolate liqueur vibe here, spicy chocolate. Touch of dark toffee and a trace of ripe fruits. Light but alcohol spicy finish. Nice job. Rich and tasty and quite drinkable for the abv.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Kenny. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy beige-yellow head. Medium to big sweet flavour, some ash, roast, cocoa, raisins, scorched earth. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish. Pretty good.

Can sampled, huge thanks to kermis. Black. Chocolate, soft nuts, massive booze, vanilla, muscovado sugar, wodka, roasted malts. Quite sweet, boozy bitter. Almost full bodied. OK but too boozy.
