Can, 12%. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, maple and vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, maple, sweet, warming, vanilla, little marzipane and a little bitter.

Can, 12%. Roasted aroma, good coffee note. Faint hints of vanilla and smoke. Black colour. Small dark brown head. Thick, oily mouthfeel. The flavour has a good coffee note, but not too bitter. Quite sweet with coconut and vanilla. Aftertaste of good roasted coffee. Very flavorful but well-balanced.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coconut, treacle, taste is similar, quite dry and bitter for a pastry stout, very little sweetness.

On tap @ the Scrapyard. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of coconut, dry roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavors of dark chocolate, a bit of whiskey?, coconut and oily roasted malts. Tasty.

Dark pour with a small tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, smoke, ash, vanilla, roasted coffee beans. Decent, but leaning a bit too much towards the roasty side.

Op tap bij Scrapyard. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Erg zoet, rum-rozijntjes, ahornsiroop duidelijk aanwezig, hint van kokos, zoete koffie, wat chocolade, weinig echt gebrande smaken, bitterzoete finish. Volle body. Zeer genietbaar in kleine hoeveelheden, 44cl zou echt veel teveel zijn.

Black with thin tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, coconut, cardemom, cinnamon, maple. Big roasted grain stack. Heavy body, tasty and smooth. Powerful stuff.
