I love collaborations! I don’t know anything about Alia Brewing though… Toppling Goliath x Lua Ferrari Backpack Double IPA with Strata, Sabro, Riwaka, Amarillo and Citra Looks like hazy honey juice with eggshell white foam and a big mouthwatering juicy tropical hop bouquet with coconut. Full bodied with good juicy but a green bitter woodsy finish that’s a bit too much pine. Solid fun brew.

17th December 2021, Laguna Hills California. Mini-tasting with myself (family out at a Christmas Light Show): 16 Fluid Oz can into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass (two pours). Cloudy dull yellow body (think Lemon Curd in colour), snow white head. Fruity nose with a coconut undertone, citrus fruits to the fore. Taste is also citrussy and again with that Sabro hop coconut influence. Fairly 'dense' body, almost 'thick' in texture (think watery Lemon Curd, but no toast). My first beer from these guys and I'm impressed, I have no idea who Lau is!
