Bottle at Gasthof zum Sonnenwald Schöfweg, Thursday 27th October 2022. Pours gold, good clarity, white head. Hoppiness is apparent (five different hops used), edging towards citrussy, light bitterness. It's quite good but you sense it's all a little bit too safe and trying to cater to two different drinkers. Needs to be a little bolder and with a bit more of everything.

5,6% ABV.

Bottle from Haussmann Getränke. Drunk from a tiny Ikea glass in an Allgäu hotel. Quite clear amber pour, great lasting head, yeasty haze on the fourth mini pour. Lemon melon summer sweetness in the nose. Mild fruitiness on the tongue, nice grain character. Bitterness at the end is well balanced; it's a dry one. Maybe too flavorful to drink several, but a nice tasty pale for the end of a summer day.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a short and minimally off-white foamy layer. Yeasty and berry-fruity aroma with hints of dark and bready malt, acvcompanied by strong phenolic notes. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a calm carbonation. Bonedry, slightly toasted malty base with a mild but also quite perfumed fruity hops character; dry and mildly hop bitter finish with slightly fruity hops and strong phenolic notes. 04.VI.18

Aroma is rose pomelo honey apple slight licorice. Taste is nothing much. A bit sweet caramel with sour citrus. Drinkable. Retronasal the same as aroma. Strange one.

Heuartig hopfiger Antrunk. Mild bitterer, minimal fruchtiger Mittelteil, in dem der Hopfen führend bleibt. Weich herb, steigend hellmalzig, spritzig. Rundes spritziges Sommer Pale Ale. 12/11/12/11/10/11
