A slightly fizzy pint with a foamy head that reduced to a thin film. Sweet but not overly so, a slightly bitter taste to balance it out. Refreshing but at 5.2% it’s not one I’d choose as a guzzler.

50cl can from SuperBrugsen. Pours clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with some hops. Lightly bitter finish. Not bad, quite pleasant.

Cask at the Tram Depot, Cambridge, UK on 13th August 2011. Copper with whitish thinning head and some lacing. Initial sweet berry flash. Malty and a little fruitiness in aroma and liquid taste. Cooked veg - broad beans cabbages - along with grassiness. Spicy kick. End taste bittersweet, upper mouth citrus and some bitterness linger.

0,5 l. can from Superbrugsen. Clear, amber golden colour with a small, off-white head. Caramel aroma with nutty notes, and some rustic hops, Medium bitterness what leads to a light sweetness in the pleasent finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice beer at a fair price.

Cask handpump at The Wheatsheaf (I think) Edith Weston, Rutland 14.05.11 Copper in colour , I think, though I never described the colour. Malty tasty bitter, loads of toffee, bit chewy but bags of flavour. Nice bitterness, a good beer, really liked this , cannot believe I hadn’t rated it. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

500 ml can, from Dagli’brugsen Skødstrup, Denmark. ABV is 4.7%. Amber to copper colour, large off-white head. Moderate but nice fruity aroma, also notes of toffee. The flavour is fruity, with some caramel and decent hops in the background. Much better than I feared.
