Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, deep bronze. Thin, dense, lasting, beige head. Nose has cracknell toffee. Fruit pudding. Some cinnamon. Hint of smoke. Bready malts. Taste is sweet and a little spicy. Some vinous, estery dryness. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Short, drying finish. Very nice.

Pours dark brown from the bottle and leaves a creamy head. Aroma is caramel, butterscotch, black bread. Taste is malty sweet, lots of caramel, honey, and milk chocolate. Finish is long and sweet. Overall good if you’re into heavy, sweet, malty bocks. The 7% ABV remains well disguised. Full bodied with average carbonation. Good.

On tap @ Tegernseer Tal, Starkbierzeit 2016. Sűrű, csúszós, magos, sötét, édeskés illat. Brutálisan testes, igazi duplabak. Égetett karamell. Eltelíti az embert, böjti sör.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours a deep slightly hazy amber brown colour with an off white head. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel and plum. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, texture is slick, soft carbonation. Finish is a bittersweet dryness. Enjoyable.
