Cardinal 200216. Black colour withn a brown head. Aroma is licorice, chocolate, coffee. Flavour is hop, pine, cocoa, alcohol, chocolate, coffee. Full body. Very nice beer.

On tap at Cardinal. A dark brown beer topped by a creamy tan head leaving curtains. Chocolate, some coffee and licorice, roasted malts and some dark berries in the aroma. It’s full bodied, smooth and lightly warming on the palate, rather sweet, with lots of chocolate, and a good dash of coffee, roasted malts and berries. Lasting finish that feels rather dry and bitter. Lovely indeed. 160220

On tap at Grünerløkka brygghus, Oslo. Very dark brow, close to black, with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with dark chocolate, dark, ripe fruits, licorice, sugar and hints of alcohol and spices. Fra fad på Cardinal M2, jan-15: frisk og fyldig med bærtoner helt i slutten. En lekker affære, her er ingen skarpe kanter og det gjør den farlig lettdrikkelig. Et par glass av denne så kjenner du jordrotasjonen. Mørke bær i den gode aromaen, og mange fornøyde fjes rundt bordet.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 12.01.15. Black. Dense and persistent beige head. Vanilla and dark malt in aroma. Dark malt in taste, with dark berries, coffee.liquorice and considerable bitterness.

On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with a solid tanned head. Aroma of roasted malts, a lot of alcohol, fruity. Very sweet. A bit boring for an imp. stout. Re-rated: alcohol aroma is gone.

Lukt: Duft av kaffe, lakris, bek, sjokolade og vanilje.
Utseende: Dyp sort farge.
Skum/kullsyre: Dekkende brunt skum, heng langs kant.
Smak: Kaffe, lakris sjokolade og vanilje.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar. Pitch black colour, large tan head. Roasty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, sandalwood and liquorice. Roasty flavour too, not too sweet, not too dry - well balanced. Dark chocolate, coffee and hints of liquorice again, decent hops in the finish.
