Bottle. Black body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of medium roasted, dark malt and licorices. Flavor is rather sweet with dark, roasted malt, lots of licorices and hint of sweet chocolate. Medium to thin bodied and average aftertaste. Quite an interesting take on the moderate alcoholic stout, but I think it’s actually the alcohol that’s issue here, feels a bit unbalanced and some more body would made a big difference here. Close but no cigar (still not bad at all).
