Cask at the Waggon & Horses, Stourbridge. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is ripe banana milkshake. Taste has creamy milk chocolate to start and a banana finish.

Half pint on cask at the Doncaster Brewery. Thin beige head. Clear almost black pour. A little sweet with hints of banana and chocolate. Nicely balanced

On tap at BrewDog Soho. Black beer lasting tan head. Wow that's a bit different. Banana definitely on the aroma. Even a light strawberry going on. Like a chocolate banana milkshake. Fine if a little on the crazy side.

Cask-conditioned, at Brigantes, York 22/8/2018. Near black in colour, with a moderately-sized, beige, head. Ripe bananas, fudge, milk chocolate, some leafy hops, charred malt notes and a rich finish. A good sweet stout.

Gravity cask at the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester. Dark brown, opaque with the tiniest bit of off-white head. Banana is strong in the aroma with some fudge and a harsh metallic whiff. Interesting taste: the sweetness is countered by a burned malt flavour. Jars at first but I really warm to it. Medium to thick oily body, no carbonation. Imperfect but certainly quite good.

Craftwork Beer & Street Food Festival 2018. Very dark brown with its toffee and banana stated, and the latter lingers in its aftertaste. It's at its most roasted in its nose, but is not that much in reality. A very sweet stout.
