From Pivoteka, shared with Ogivlado. Poured an almost-black body with a tiny off beige head that went away surprisingly fast. Classic Porter aroma, more or less, toasty, dark malty, dry, actually - it’s more yeasty than coffeish or (especially) chocolatey. The taste, however, does get me nice dark chocolate, a singular, light roasty dark malts note dancing on my tongue, pleasant really, Lean, dry taste. The yeast has definitely eaten up all the honey and then, likely in overhyperdrive, ate everything else. This is extremely lean, no sweetness to it. Dry with some black malt tartness. And I dig it and I kinda like it. Earthy-chocolatey finish. I almost didn’t like this, I have to admit, and I definitely expected more, but it’s a good beer in my book. Nothing less and unfortunately nothing more.

Sampled at the RBBWG 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours black, not much head. Smell is roasty, taste is bit wattery. Roasty. Mild smoke ( trough the roastyness ) OK.

Thank you markoijelena! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). Black, creamy tanned head. Nose is umami, soy sauce, mocha, vinous, coffee grounds. Taste is vinous, thin sour grains, coffee, thin charcoal, grainy, bit umami. Too thin, grainy, oddly lightly vinous. Not really what it should be.
