Rye3 does not aim to be a balanced beer, it want to show its character. You will see antique gold, good clearness, and it’s white and persistent foam. New generations hops from Yakima valley express themself in a citrusy and herbaceous impact yielding the scene to fruity and flowery notes. In the mouth, the opening is sweet, the ending is dry and go with a long and refreshing bitterness.

330 ml can, bb 05/2027. Orange, medium hazy body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, orange juice, stone fruits, grass, dankness, some biscuit. Tastes quite similar, more bitter, while also a bit sweet, with the rye noticeable.
Creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes very bitter, dry, citric, zesty, grassy, with grapefruit, rye, slight biscuit.
Interesting cross between NE and Rye IPA, with a quite heavy bitterness towards finish. I would prefet it a bit more balanced, but still quaffable.

33cl can de et partagée avec Tderoeck, merci.
BB 11/2026, lotto# 062505079.

17/6/2025. Can from Don Gennaro, Pescara. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is heavy on the rye, rye bread, malted, cracker, hoppy, light herb, touch of spice, very slightly sweaty. Very nice bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Bready rye finish. Really liked this.

Tap at Lumière. Golden color, faint haze, thick fine white head. Citrusy hoppy smell. Flavor of tropican hops tangerine grapefruit, malt profile somewhat gritty and starchy, taste sharp from a yeasty dough mud to sourish, spicy and intensively bitter. Solid body. Pungent spicy finish, extremely dry, dusty, very bitter, quite astringent. Very sharp, and flavorful, relatively strong, heavy hopped, loads of resin. Surprised.
