12/11/2022. Can shared in Noumea. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours thick black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, lactose, brown sugar, caramel, sugar syrup, molasses, hint of sweet liquorice. Rich and sweet, with medium roasted bitterness which checks the sweetness nicely. Full bodied, velvet texture, very soft carbonation. Sweet, luxurious. So good.

Can, thanks Fin! Brown/black, dark brown cream. Big cold coffee, Kaba, frothy nummer. Fullbodied, but painfully sweet cocoa drink, pralines, coffee, Starbuck's nightmares. Aftertaste is pleasant, coffee pralines, lavender, good cocoa finish.

Can. Why the hell does one go through the hassle of vegan chocolate, but then add lactose? Seriously, why? Anyway, upon opening the can, a smell of amazing espresso and dark chocolate fills the room. Darkest brown to black color with beige head. Aroma is beautiful espresso, dark chocolate, super natural and complex. Taste is the same, but a heavily sweet and sticky body takes over. The lactose might have been too much. Finish is coffee-like again, with a great complexity. Sticky mouthfeel, low carbonation. It's too sweet on the tongue, but I am blown away by the aroma and finish.

Can courtesy of Dad cheers Dad! consumed and shared with dad at Isobel's Spond nr Kington, Herefordshire at the Georgia and Dom after wedding party Saturday 16th October 2021, listening to the Pixies. Pours black with a creamy textured head. Super smooth, indulgent and quite astonishingly easy drinking, this absolutely does not taste 14.5%. Coffee and chocolate in abundance, silky soft moutheel, creamy, this is a great beer my only criticism is with many of these beers i.e the use of lactose.

Can from HOTM and special thanks for sending this on as it was missed off the initial delivery. Jet black with a reddish brown head. Aroma and taste are sweet coffee and chocolate with hints of sweet nutty praline and bitter cocoa. Slight vanilla. Smooth and full bodied.
