Don't know what to call it besides a Brett Beer. This one gets aged for 3 months in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, a cool yeast that gives this beer a wonderfully pretty aroma and flavor that everyone better like or else I'll look you up and teach you a lesson.

Bottle thanks to beernbourbon. Pours clear pale straw, medium white head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is Brett, oak, hints of white grapes, vinous qualities, fruity. Flavor is light tart, light funk, loads of oak, white grape, clean Brett. Light body, nice clean sour. I seem to be out ahead of the pack in terms of enjoying this one.

Keg at Bridge - STL. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a creamy topping. Lightly funky in the nose with notches of ripe lemon, sweat, pale wood, apple. Medium sweet flavour with more ripe, lightly tart lemon notes, old citrus rind, damp wood, hay, green apple skins. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Tangy and cleansing on the finish, with more lemon, just a touch of acetic acid, more hay, subtle woody dryness. Nice overall.

750 mL bottled Jan 2014, drunk 11/28/15.
Very pale, white gold, with a light haziness. Big white head shows strong retention.
Pear skin more prominent than in most. Cidery, so acetic, but with light vanilla and flowers. Lactic acid, apple skin and seems a lot like a Norman cider.
Cider, brett, pear and light lemons. Very, very attenuated. But mild, somewhat bland and borderline astringent. No sweetness, but mellow brett is enjoyable with soft, light carbonation.
