On tap at La Cidrerie du Canal, pours a clear golden with a small white bubbly head. Aroma seems dry, with champagne-like effervescence and dry apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with champagne-like effervescence, plenty of funk, and musty apple skins. Real nice funk and carbonation to express the dryness. Excellent.

750ml wired cork bottle from Cork & Cask. 5.3%. Opened with a pop. Clear orangey gold colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, funk, caramel. Taste is sweet, fruity, apple, juicy, with caramel hints, some barnyard funk and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-sweet tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from EkoPlaza shared at home. Pale golden with no real head. Dry apples, old oak, old rubberbands, massive tannins. Mild sweet and bitter, very dry. Medium body and low in carbonation. €6 for a Normandy Bio cider picked up around the corner, not bad.

Bottle from EkoPlaza shared at home. Clear deep golden with some white fizz on top that lasts just a few seconds. Quite some barnyard, soft goaty notes, sweet apple, dry apple, a touch of lemon, gooseberries, soft grass in the finish. Under medium sweet, even lighter bitter and sour. Medium bodied with medium dry finish. Pretty good!

75cl bottle from Stirchley Wines. Pours clear gold with a mild apple juice aroma. Taste is muted in comparison, extremely light and weak with very little cider character. Disappointing.

Sampled from bottle at Craft Beer Co., London. Bottle was brought to the pub by someone. First cider ever. Pale white / yellow color, small shite lacing. Smell is awful: sour, rotten fruit, barnyard, apples, manure. Tastes quite decent, a bit sweet, some sourness, apple and lightly alcohol. Low body.
