750ml bottle, 2024 vintage. Chocolate aroma with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, roasted malt, chiles and coffee. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and very little lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, roasted malt and cinnamon flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with vanilla, coffee and chile pepper flavors. Excellent variant, definitely like the increased vanilla flavor.

Sample at Flip Side Easton. Brown-black pour with a medium light tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, vanilla, bittersweet chocolate, cinnamon and subtle chili pepper. The finish is sweet with a malt and cinnamon aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sampled from the tap at Northern Taphouse. Pours black with a deep brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great combination of vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon with just a bit of pepper. Flavor has smooth dark grains and chocolate supported by a nice vanilla and a bite of peppers and cinnamon in the finish.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of intense vanilla beans upfront, with a touch of cocoa, cinnamon and chilis. Flavour is very rich, with tons of vanilla beans upfront, a touch of cocoa, and a touch of cinnamon. The extra vanilla adds a nice further layer of complexity to this and drowns out the chilis and cinnamon. Very good.
