A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mid sweet strong pale malt, dull hops. Taste of sweetish pale malt, strong malt, honey, slightly boozy.

500 ml can, as Harboe Extra Strong, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 7.7%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts and glucose syrup, some herbal hints. Medium sweet flavour (too sweet to be refreshing), notes of glucose syrup and alcohol, moderate herbal hops in the finish.

33cl bottle at Agriturismo Ridolla, Premilcuore, Italy. Pours intense gold, transparent, with practically no foam. Aroma is malty, alcoholic, biscuit. Body is slightly dense, with average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with some bitterness. Final is fairly long.

Sampled from 0.33 l can from 'Biermuda' as 'Bear Beer', canned in March 2018. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, just a little grassy-spicy and a bit sugary aroma of grains, some straw and traces of honey. Medium sweet, just slightly bitter, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, moderately boozy and quite metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not great, still drinkable, if only in small quantities.

Can from Nemlig.com as Harboe Extra Strong. 7.7 % ABV. Clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, corn and light alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with some alcohol. 180518
