Keg at MBCC 2018 Yellow (session Juan), 11/05/18. Black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is big roast malts, spice, dark chocolate, mellow barrel repost, dried fruits, coconut shavings. Taste comprises roast malts, black peppery spice, molasses, chocolate melt, ripe bourbonics, Bounty bar, toffee fudge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Solid imperial porter ... good balance and barrel effect and drinks a good bit below the ABV. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Tap@MBCC 2018 Yellow Session, Copenhagen - pours black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, caramel and fudge sweetness, burnt dark malty nuances, big bold full bodied, gorgeous bourbon soaked wooden accents into the dark malty close.

Nice fizzy-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark sugar, mild bourbon, vanilla, dark malts, chocolate, cinnamon, hay, bark, maple, caramel. Taste is slightly dry boozy, weeds, oak, bark, dark sugar, dark malts, bourbon, chocolate, toast, caramel, hay, minerals, cinnamon, maple. Medium bitterness, sweet boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

On tap, 13.3 % abv. at MBCC green (fourth) session. Coal black body, just a ring of bubbles to the rim of the surface, spotty lacing. Inviting aroma of chocolate malts and earth. Prominent taste profile of coconuts, chocolate, and bread. Lingering ending with alcohol warming. Good drinking, but way too sweet in the long run. (Copenhagen 12.05.2018).

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Almost clear brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth dark malts, nice coffee, strong but nicely rounded. Barrel induced vanilla. Light fruity bourbon. Spicy bourbon finish. Nice one.
