When we got asked to do the official GBG Beer Week 2018 beer all we could think about was sour strawberries, sour and strawberries, a sour beer with strawberries! So, that’s what we did. Gôtt ânna!
The label text says it all really. We got asked to do this beer. We felt very honored. We wanted to do a strawberry sour. Not just to make a strawberry sour but also to get more people into sour beer. Why? Because we love it! And, we think others, would they dare to try, would to. The reach of the official GBG Beer Week beer is fantastic. Stigbergets and Beerbliotek, the two breweries who’ve made Beer Week beers before, have started something special and we’re keen to get the people who loved their beers to also try ours, to try a sour for the first time. For the love of beer!

Excellent example of a kettle sour. Cut grass. Strawberry sofle. Light peach tones. No ott lactose nonsense. Not astringent. Excellent.

330ml bottle at SpielBEERg in Moscow. Shared by vinivini, thanks again. Pours clear amber with a medium-sized white head. Beautiful lacing. Aroma is strawberry jam, yoghurt. Taste is more strawberry jam, lactic acid, medium sourness. A wonderful beer.

Bottle. Clear reddish gold. Decent head. Nose: lactic acid, light strawberries, a trace of wild yeast. Light body. Almost watery. Taste: moderately sour. Strawberry mid. Tart and somewhat hollow ending. Decent.

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Clear peach colour beer, small peach colour head. Light palate, dry, decent fine carbonation. A little floral peach out muscled by lemon acid. Light dry crisp finish. One of the least worst acid affairs in this session.

Lys brun lett tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter jordbær, gress og rips. Middels fylde. Sursyrlig smak. Smaker sure bær, vanilje og noe honning. Middels lang.

Tap. Rather clear orange color with white head. Aroma is peach, strawberries, jam, apricot. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation. Damn, this is liquid peach and strawberry jam.
