8 July 2020. Random Wednesday Tasting; cheers to Anke & Tim! Hazy amber with a lasting, small, foamy, tan head; some lacing. Aroma of dried plum, apricot, banana, milk chocolate, cake, vague wort, liqueur, pistachio. Taste has sweet plum, banana & apricot, chocolatey-nutty malty backbone, a bit yeasty, bitter herbal notes underneath. Dry, herbal hoppy finish, sweet-sour dried fruit lingering & vague chocolate, warming liqueur alcohol in the throat. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not Uiltje's best experiment but I appreciate it.

8/VII/20 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ Nathan & Anke’s place, BB: n/a, bottled: 10/I/19 (2020-604)
Slightly cloudy deep orange to amber beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malts, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, some ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: lots of chocolate, alcohol, little bitter, malty, some caramel, sweet touch. Aftertaste: soft roast, alcohol, lots of chocolate, nice bitterness, very nice.

Tap @ Flink Gegist Festival. Orange blonde. Caramel and detergent in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish, slightly yeasty flavor with white chocolate. Bottle @ home. Orange golden color. Caramel, herbal hops And White chocolate in the slightly soapy aroma. Sweetish, alcoholic flavor, slightly herbal And yeasty with White chocolate.

33cl Bottle from Uiltje Taproom. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of cocoa, veggies, hint of peas, chocolate, malts. Flavour of cocoa and chocolate, light malty, light fruity, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not too bad, just doesn't smell so nice.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with over ripe fruits, candy sugar, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
