Slightly aged sample Small yellowish head over finely carbonated veiled amber ale. Typical sweet oxydation nose, common for sweeter German beers. Bread, chestnut flour, leafy, old paper. Sweet, bready, milkchocolate, with a faint hoppy revival in the finish. Again (faint) oxydation. Chewy, at least medium bodied, very well carbonated. Pretty durchschnittlich. Txs to Stef!

Bottle at Lange Nacht der Brauereien. Brown. Deep chestnut, malty caramel, dark fresh bread with cold butter. Taste is round and full and roasted, earthy, moreish. This is lovely.

Hallertauer Wolamot, Flasche von Getränke Hörl, Wolnzach. - Mahagonirot, fast klar. - Sehr gelungen! (29.4.2022.)

Bottle picked up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß and consumed at Frank, (Camper) Bannewaldsee nr Schwangau, Friday 22nd November 2019 after another long walk, this time via the famous 🏰's and the brewpub (again!). Pours dark amber with a slight haze and a white head. Malty and with a little light toffeeness, very, very easy drinking beer for the abv. Really nice.

Bottle. Cloudy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready, nutty, caramel, herbal hops. Taste is caramel, bready, sugar icing. Velvety mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Too sweet for me, but pleasant and easy-going. The appearance and mouthfeel kinda save the score.

Euro-Flasche: Hazy, copper to light amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head; moderate sweet honeyish-pale-malty nose, mild - but distinctive - herbal-hoppy traces in the second row; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering and drier pale-malty, fruity and herbal-hoppy finish; lingering hoppy aftertaste. Unspectacular, but well balanced Doppelbock...
