Bottle picked up from Schönramer brewery shop and consumed at home Sunday 11th February 2024 listening to Dead Bandits - Memory Thirteen after nipping into Schönberg and watching Fasching/Karneval. We're cooking Chicken Dauphinoise with Dijon and Cream later. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, clean, malty, honey throughout but with a little herby undercurrent. This is very nice.

Bottle. Golden, white lace. Grassy pilsnerish hop notes, bitternes forward on a chewy crisp malt base. A hint ginger, salt and spice, moreish bitter finish,

Tap at Tap House Munich. Clear deep golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, herbal hops, grassy. Taste is herbal hops, caramel. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Surprising, very good!

500ml bottle. Crystal clear, orangey golden colour with averge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy and grainy, mellow malty aroma, a touch of honey and pear, grassy and minimally waxy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet malty, diluted hints of caramel, a touch of honey, cereals, some hop bitterness; smooth, silky and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Very clean - laconic.

Bottle(@Metro Bürgerbräukeller): Deep golden, white and stable head; sweet pale-malty to bready-bisquity nose, low hoppiness, some fruity spots; moderate sweet flavour, low bitterness, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet malty finish. Not bad, but this "diluted Heller Bock" lacks the balancing hops…

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a mid-sized good lasting white head. Aroma of pale and slightly strong malt, mild hops. Taste of mild sweet malt, grains, mild hops, nothing special.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a firm and slightly off-white mid-sized foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with notes of biscuits, honey, caramel and a subtle fruity touch. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft and mildly bready malt character with hints of honey and a whiff of caramel, backed by shades of herbal hops; moderately sweet malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish with notes of bread and a tinge of caramel in the aftertaste. 07.XII.15
