This is our third release of Picture Pot, our dry-hopped golden sour. This edition has been made from a blend of four barrels from three brews, produced in January and November 2019. Fermentation took place in Californian Chardonnay and Herefordshire cider barrels using our locally collected house culture of yeast and bacteria.

The blend was dry-hopped with whole cone Loral and Enigma hops. The beer is bottle conditioned, as always, and has been in bottle for six months prior to release.

The resulting beer is intensely aromatic, with round acidity and rolling carbonation. Drink young for fresh hop aromatics and aged for increased brettanomyces funk.

12 February 2022. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks for hosting, Tim, and cheers to the whole crew!

Bottled: 4/2021. Hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of funky stonefruit, green apple, mandarin, straw, sour grape, wood. Taste has sour stonefruit 'end', grape and mandarin peel, sweetish streak over bready maltiness. Tart, yellow-fruity finish, hoppy stonefruity, woody tannins and grape, bit funky. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Elegant Sour, satisfyingly hopped.

75cl bottle @ Brewver Winter Gathering '21, thanks Eugene. BB 04/2026, bottled 04/2021.

Pours slightly unclear, medium small white head. Scent is full, chestnut, aged wood profile, very fine. Taste is full, sharp tartness. High carbonation. Fairly dry, mild oak. Tad astrigent. Dry, mild chestnutty ending. Full finish, malty, tart, juicy sours.

Now I wish I had bought two of each, one to age, because this is perfect fresh and aged I'm sure it'll be amazing too. Nice kick of chardonnay and cider notes on the finish, sweet light funk upfront, perfect morning vibes and hard to put down.

Bottle. Mills online. Light haze on a pale gold. Lively white foam is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has loads of mineraly white wine. Apple peel and pomace. Bretty oak. Floral and herbal hop leaf. Touch of shitty barn rounds things up nicely. Taste is tart and super juicy. Bright hop bitterness. Clean and crisp on the palate. Fine foamy carbonation. Juicy tart finish. Typically top tier.
