New England IPA by this Basque brewery, thanks Craftmember for sharing. Irregular, coarse, uneven-bubbled, egg-white, medium thick head, cloudy straw blonde robe with a yolk-yellow hue. Aroma of guava, sweet cicely, lime juice, freshly whipped cream, raw cake dough, overripe Doyenné pear, some sweaty dankness in the background. Sweet, fruity onset, passionfruit and guava mingled with banana and some mango, softish carb, soft lime-like sourishness around the edges; soft doughy malt body, highly aromatized in a tropical (guava, green mango) and citric (pomelo, lime) way – and apart from that, the hops add a brief, slightly peppery but soft, yet important bitter accent as well. A herbal, green celery- and sweet cicely-like aroma lingers about as well. A bit more ‘green’, clean and bitter than your average NEIPA, but all the more interesting for it; it seems more and more European craft brewers on the old continent begin to master this style, with a more diverse overall picture of European NEIPAs as a result.

440ml can. Hazy orange, massive white head. Aroma of sweet malts and fruits. Taste is sweet, fruity, citrusy, orange, pineapple, malts. Medium bodied.

Draft: Poured a bright yellow orange with a white head. Aroma is fruity, hops, malts. Taste is fruity, grapefruit, citrus, melon, tangly.

Can picked up from Væskebalancen - Valby and drunk at home - pours a hazed to opaque orange colour. Medium sweet fruity and malty with some notes of lychee, grapefruit, passionfruit, lime, sabro pineapple coming in, soft sweetish malty support, not as vibrant and slightly thinner than expected, hoppy finish is balanced medium biter. Drinks alright.
