"A Blaus", so nennen manche Liebhaber auch dieses traditionsreiche Bier.
Helles Braumalz aus reiner Sommerbraugerste verleiht die gold-gelbe Farbe und sorgt für den milden Malzgeschmack mit einer leichten Honignote. Feinster fränkischer Aromahopfen verleiht dem Bier die harmonische Bittere mit dezenten Zitrusnoten.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Sunday 21st May 2023 listening to Antony Szmierek/Jacanda People - Twist Forever. Honey Cured Ham Ribs currently smoking in the KamadoJoe. Pours clear warm gold with a white head, a little honey note on the nose along with a little citrus. Taste following a similar trajectory, light malty, good balance, good Helles.

From bottle. Grainy, citrussy, bready, grapefruit. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bitter finish. Nice balanced crisp Helles.

Typisch plörrige blankfiltrierte Industrieexportnase. Trinkt sich okay.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally spicy, pale malty and rather plain, bitter hoppy aroma, a bready touch of white bread crust. Taste is minimally grainy, spicy and bready, pale malty, moderately bitter hoppy with a citrusy touch, hints of white bread crust, a touch of lemon. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Drinkable and refreshing - not bad.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, almost orangey gold. Decent white foam stays the course. Nose has sweet grain. Spelt. Mown grass. Sweaty yeast. Taste has a touch of sweetness, with a clean and crisp hop bite. Smooth mouthfeel with foamy carbonation. Crisp bitterness lingers on the finish. Super chuggable.

Milder, wenig süßer Beginn. Etwas getreidig, kaum würzig, langweilig. Minimal bitter, mittellanger Abgang. 8/7/9/7/11/7
