Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle, thanks to gunnar who brought it fresh from Bamberg. ABV is 5.2% Dark reddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Attractive aroma, a mix of sweetish maltiness and smokiness, some fruit too. The flavour is also malty but not too sweet - however, the notes of "smoked meat" are not my favourite. Far too little hops, "empty" finish.

Flaske innkjøpt dagen før i Bamberg av Odd Gunnar, delt med RBHD-guttene juni-13: nydelig rødbrun farge, flott tett skum og aroma av røykmalt. Mild, neddempet og balansert rund smak nesten uten bitterhet. Sødmen balanseres av av den milde røykmalten. Et behagelig øl.

Bottle @ The 5th Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg, 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Campfire, salami, bread and caramel. Smooth. Fruity acidic. Some rubber. Decent.

Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Bottled medium May - Consumed 2 month later. Bottle @ Cafe Abseits, Bamberg. Pours dark ruby brown with a small off white head. Really smoked nose. Meat and campfire in the nose. Flavor is really tart and off. Too bad . .

Bottle. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a creamy, light beige head. Bacon-ish, smoked ham aroma with some caramel maltyness. Quite dry on the palate, medium to full body. A bit unpleasant in the flavor. Don’t know exactly what it is, but maybe the combination of hops and malts crash a bit. Smoked, ham-like finish with some bitterness. A decent one, but far from my favorite smoked. 120817

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is ruby/amber. Aroma and taste are bacon, sausage, smoke, caramel and hops.

Bottle @ pre-TFODRBSG, Ulfborg. Hazy deep red with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather smoky - bacon and bonfire. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 170812

Bottle, 5.2% @ FOneFan, Pre-Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2012. hazy dark amber with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, smoke and a little meat. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, little dry, smoke and bacon.

Bottle at Cafe Absiets - 28/04/12. Mid to dark brown in colour with a frothy beige head. Malts and a little smoking in the aroma - not full on Rausch. Little teasers of chocolate and coffee appear in the taste behind the smoke malts and a little fruitiness in there also. Medium bodied with a bitter-sweet finish and a little linger of smoke.
