Bottle at home from Csakajo. Konnyes lesz a szemem meg most is amikor eszembe jut az a tokeletes balansz, a szuperior ihatosag, a karakteres, de kiegyensulyozott keseruseg, az a szofisztikalt, reteges malatassag. Nem lattam jonni, de nagyon betalalt.

Hallertauer Winterperle, Flasche von Getränke Hörl, Wolnzach. - Dunkles Kupfergoldbraun, schwach trüb. - In der Nase dezentes aber gediegenes dunkles (Münchner) Malz, feine und reiche Karamelsüße, leichte Röstnoten (Vollkornbrot), feine zitronige Spitzen. - Antrunk satt und tief dunkelmalzig mit schöner Brotkruste, feiner Karamelsüße und wuchtiger krautiger Hopfenherbe, wie man sie von einem bairischen Dunkel nicht erwartet. Milder rezent, vollmundig, mineralisch. Im Abgang reiche dunkle Malzbittere und solide krautige Hopfenbittere mit zart erdiger Note. - Ungewöhnlich satt aromatisches Dunkles in Märzenstärke, nicht nur tief und vornehm malzig sondern auch großzügig gehopft. Eine echte Entdeckung. (31.5.2022.)

Bottle picked up from the restaurant next to the brewery Wolnzach, today after a 10km loop hike. Consumed at home Sunday 5th December 2021 listening to Idles - Crawler we have a Pumpkin Cannelloni. Pours chestnut in colour with a ruby tinge, there is a very slight haze, but only slight. Some dark sugars on the nose, sweet malts, chewy toffee, a little breadyness, rustic edge, a little mineral touch. Good.

Bottle, courtesy of Sinh4. Pours unclear amber. Aroma is candy, molasses, grains. Body is medium, sweet, caramel and toasted malts, lively carbonation. Some sweetness on the palate. Balanced and tasty. Good.

Bottle.hazy chestnut brown, low head. Light roast aroma. More intensely roasted juicy caramel malt base on the palate, medium full sparkly body, very nice lime fizz hoppiness to balance. Surprisingly fresh and quite drinkable.

Bottle into Steinkrug. Amber-chestnut color with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, earthy, black breadcrust, well hopped with some juicy hop aromatics, indeed also watermelon. Taste is roasted malts, burnt breadcrust, earthy, nutty, again a good amount of fruity hops. Dry, mineralic, even slightly chalky mouthfeel with surprisingly large-bubbled carbonation. Great Dunkles, Urban Chestnut is really becoming one of my favourite Lager breweries.
