Amber. Aroma is spices, cookie dough, dried figs, sugar icing, lots of belgian yeast, milk chocolate. Taste is harsh green yeast. Quite bitter in the finish. Lots of tree bark. Rather too harsh to drink. Alcoholic and murky.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is dirty peach, boozy, spicy yeasts. Taste is rotten peach and banana, mineralic. Boozy, sirupy finish. Not convincing.

Bottle. Grey cloudy golden, grey lace. Burned sugar, heavy fermented fruit nose, pear, banana, moldy clementine. Medium light body, mellow mouthfeel. Heavy on the dirty fruit and mineral aroma. Clay baked rotten fruit finish. Not pleasant.

Bouteille (650ml): Deep golden, almost clear, medium-sized and slowly collapsing lacy white head; sweetish grainy-malty nose with some fruity spots and a tinge of honey, some herbal hops in the background; mainly sweet flavour with a slight bitterness, medium bodied; slightly drier towards the malty-honeyish finish, light bitter aftertaste with some warming alcohol. Not unpleasant...

swing top bottle 650ml. -from Spar supermarket, Alpe d’Huez. Darker golden coloured, medium to big off-white head, light caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, mild spicy and alcoholic with touch of banana and brown sugar in the finish. Not bad.

27/XI/14 - 65cl @ Gent Horeca Expo - BB: n/a (2014-1419)

Clear deep blond beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, lots of orange peel, overripe fruits, spicy, bit sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, bit sugary, cooked fruits and vegetables, spicy, cloves, some cinnamon. Aftertaste: bitter touch, spicy, bit sugary, some off-flavours, reminds me a lot of (US style) pumpkin ale. And that's not really a good thing.

(swing top bottle, 65cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly caramelly malty aroma with bready and slightly nutty notes, accompanied by a subtle citric touch. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Biscuity cara-malt character with mildly fruity accents; sweet and delicately bitter finish with notes of biscuits and caramel, while the alcoholic strength is warming, not harming. 26.XII.13

650ml Flasche. Bernstein Farbe, schöne Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, Wurst?! Geschmack sehr malzig süß, leicht würzig. So leicht schmeckt es auch nach Leberwurst :-)
