Flaska från Wika Meny Köga. Vintage 2009, fatlagrad och med brett. Troligtvis inte haft de bästa lagringsförutsättningarna. Inte så förvånande så skummar den något vid öppning, men inte farligt. Får dock den stora bottensatsen att röras upp. Trots detta en ganska klar upphällning och ser bättre ut i glaset än väntat. Något mörkare bärnstensfärgad med en smutsvit krona. Rejält med brett i doften med tydligt funkiga toner, viss syra, ligger ovanpå sötma från honung och torkad aprikos. Litet inslag av gröna druvor. Lagom stor kropp, fatkaraktär. Klarat sig förvånansvärt bra, och är intressant och god rakt igenom. Visserligen smal stil med brettad BW, men här var det över all förväntan. Moget, nyanserat, komplex. Verkligen imponerad. Skulle dock gissa att bretten inte var efter intention. Men gott oavsett.

50 cl bottle from the local Meny supermarket, I guess this one must have been on the shelves forever. The name is with brettanomyces attached. A nice deep red amber colour with a fast fading off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, bretts, overripe fruits, some rot, hints of chocolate and red berries. No booze. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Sweet finish with bretts and a rich frutiness. Still holding up well, all hops has faded.

50cl bottle pours a murky, burnt orange with lots of frothy, white head. Nose is caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, booze, coconut. Flavor is even more sweet, cakey, caramel, butterscotch, a little metal, roasted root veg. Finishes sweet, sticky, boozy. This could go a LOT further.

Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, apples, dryness, oak, malt, sugar. Finish is sweet and dry bitter. Overall: ok.

Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty woody weak bretty caramel aroma. Fruity malty woody bretty caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty woody caramel finish.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Deep yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, quite alcohol along with some sour wood, fruits and some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, floral and a bit nectary along with some alcohol and mild tart wooden notes. Balanced, but rather much overly sweet.

DØE. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, brett and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 240513
