Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma had pale malt, floral and grassy hops. Over the palate came chewy pale malt, light honey, floral hops and biscuits. Finished slighty off dry.

Bottled. Copper colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is rye bread, some sweetness, mild spiciness with some dried fruity elements. Flavour is bready, some rye and mild grassy tones with a slight bit of wood to it.

Bottle picked up from Hier-Gibt's-Bier webshop, Eckersdorf Franconia, consumed at home Sunday 21st March 2021, listening to Lost Horizons - In Quiet Moments. Pours chestnut brown with an off white head atop. Aroma is strange at first a little earthy and rustic but then a hint of onion skins or even pickled onions, however there is no suggestion that this is infected in any way as it tastes fine. Chocolate in the mouth, light cocoa powder, some caramel and a little fruit skin tanginess, quite good but perhaps my expectations were higher following the Helles that I had recently from these guys.

RBESG 19 Grand Tasting. Brown body, off white head. Oxidized maltiness in the aroma. Dark oxidized maltiness in the taste, oh, with some herbal touches. One of the aged ones perhaps? Somehow does kinda work.

Bottle. Hazy brown, off white lace. Spicy roast, light fruity chili and smoky cheesy aroma. Garden earthy, herbal, fruity. Medium body, mellow, could be chewier, but absolutely top notch.

Bottle. Clear dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, fruity. Taste is more chocolate, fruity, earthy, hoppy bitter finish. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Earthy aftertaste that stays long. A rather hoppy Dunkler Bock, tasty!
