Tiefgoldgelb bis hellbernsteinfarben und klar mit sehr typischer, fein- bis mittelgrober Perlage. Die weiße, feinporge Schaumkrone wirkt cremig-stabil und unglaublich langlebig. Die Duftaromatik macht einen etwas zurückhaltenden Eindruck, fördert aber leicht getreidig-malzige und zart heuige Hopfennoten zu Tage. Der Antrunk kommt gut spritzig, getreidig bis brotig malzig und gut, trocken Hopfenherb. Für ein klassisches Festbier ist die Hopfencharakteristik definitiv zu präsent, aber es passt zu diesem Bier auf jeden Fall. Auch am Gaumen und auf der Zunge macht sich ein durchaus voller, getreidiger, brotiger Malzkörper breit. Eine deutliche, trockene, aber durchaus aromatische Hopfenbittere stemmt sich dem sehr gut entgegen. So entsteht ein sehr untypisch kräftig gehopftes, aber doch ausgewogenes Festbier. Desweiteren vernimmt man ein angenehm rezentes, weiches, fast cremiges/öliges und ein zugleich etwas untypisch kräftiges adstringierendes Mundgefühl wahr. Einer guten Drinkability tut das aber überhaupt keinen Abbruch. Wie erwähnt, es passt aromatisch alles zusammen. Im Nachtrunk wirken die Malznoten sehr gut und lange nach und sehr langsam kommt immer mehr der hopfige, trockene Charakter durch. Mein Fazit: Kein typisches Festbier. Aromatisch definitiv näher an einem Export dran. Aber man bekommt genau das was auf der Flasche steht... ein Hopfen Festbier mit 6,0 % Alkohol - und somit hält es genau das was es verspricht.

500 ml bottle. Unclear dark orange with a creamy head. Butterscotch, grassy hops, overripe stone fruit, hay, vanilla, zesty citrus notes. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy sweet malty finish. Decent.

Pours a clear deep golden-amber color. Fairly soft with malt, caramel and notes of fruit.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Zolling and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Friday 18th October 2019 listening to Iggy Pop on on 6Music cooking a Keema lamb and a Prawn Curry. Pours light amber with a white head, nice softness even a little creamy. Very easy to get on with, ok it's a little malty but it's very soft and agreeable. Good.

Thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts fine malty, spicy, more and more hoppy-dry. A bit moldy. Sweetish background. Could mabye be a bit more balanced. Still interesting.

Many thanks to Martin for this bottle! Fresh fruity grainy beginning. The hops are floral, the malty body with hints of caramel is dominating the picture. Nice round and refreshing, soft smooth with a nice bitter grainy caramel (but very dry) aftertaste. Nice one.

50cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of soft caramelish malt, toasted malt, soft resinous hops. Taste of mild resinous hops, caramelish malt, soft reddish malt, meidum bitterness.

Flasch'n: Deep golden, visible carbonation, small but stable white creamy head; malty and mildly bready nose with some hardly detectable flowery hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, a bit harsh; slightly drier bitter-malty finish with some metallic spots. Not convincing...

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, fudge, earthy. Taste is caramel, fudge, herbal hops. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. A bit disappointing.
