Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dark brown body with a decent beige head. Aroma is mild coffee, mocha and some roasted malt. Flavor is malty, a bit fruity and really not so much coffee. The coffee seems to be present more in the flavor of coffee bitterness. A bit thin and not exactly in balance. The aroma is the best part.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, notes of coffee and roast malt and not much else. What a disappointment.

Bottle at KØ-10. As Limited Edition Kaffestout. A dark brown beer, seems to be clear, and it’s topped by a small beige head. Moderate coffee aroma, with just some fruityness and dms to fill out the blanks. A bit boring in the mouth too, medium body and mostly coffee flavor. Some bitterness, at least in the end. A rather boring and one-dimensional beer, but far from bad. 100506

KØ10. Faintly sour aroma. Very dark brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is sourish and roasted. Cannot taste any coffee, but a bit of infection.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Hazy dark amber beer. No head. Crisp light palate. Tangy fruit here as much as coffee. Finishes light with red fruit and more coffee. Two unusual bedfellowes well balanced here. Unusual. Nice!
