Keg tap at BrewDog Leicester. Black and opaque with a ring of off-white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is intensely savoury: ACK malt, black olives, a touch of balsamic vinegar. Taste has more of a smoked character. Sweet with a decidedly smoked character although the hop bitterness provides an ideal balance. Body is quite thin and it isn’t as carbonated as I anticipated. Still it is quite a treat and very recommended.
