Backlog October 2016. Dark brown, almost black body under a fine beige head. Aroma has dark malt and caramel. Taste is smooth, mild roasted dark malt, caramel, chocolate, decent bitterness and just as hint of chili. Not really chili hot, more like a spicy touch. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle@Lars place - Dark brown to black with beige hesd. Sweet and toasted malty, slight roasted with notes of chocolate and caramel, with some burnt malty and chilli notes, medium body, roasted malty with some slight chilli heat into the close.

KRS 220515. Black colour with a tan head. Flavour is chili, sugar, coffee, chocolate, caramel, hop, roasted malt. Perfect chili flavoured with a very nice imperial stout.

Slow gushing.. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice, hint of chili. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, caramel, licorice and hint of chili. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Dark brown to pitch black in the glass, topped by a dense, finger-thick light tan head. Some lacings. The aroma is less sweetish and sugary than the other of the series, guess the chili plays a role in that. Still there’s some sugary notes and a dash of dark caramel sauce, licorice and roasted malts. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Not much chili burn to be found. It’s more on the chocolate side than the other three in this series. Lasting finish with a faint chili touch. Nice indeed, but a tad less uninteresting than the others. 150522
