On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pink to peach coloured beer, small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of blackberries, moderate lactic acid, sea salt and coriander. Well balanced, nice beer.

Endelig er det nytt år og sesongstart på Mi2 Cardinal 14.01.19, og vi har som vanlig startet med fatøl. Denne har en rødliggylden farge med fint skum som varer. Smilene og godordene brer seg rundt bordet, tydelig at denne faller i smak hos de fleste. Herlig bæraroma og -smak med stor friskhet og samtidig med en tørrhet som gjør at glassene fort tømmes og vi ser forventningsfullt mot muggene, i håp om at der er noen dråper å dele. Balansert, med en diskret og delikat surhet.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinak 14.01.19. Cloudy orange. Fine white head and lacing. Fine acid aroma and taste, with lactic acid, sour red berries, gooseberries and rhubarb.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy reddish amber with off-white head. Aroma of berries, effervescent powder, lemon, leather, a little vanilla. Taste sour and sweet, with a lot of berries and some oak. Thin bodied.

Aus dem Fass im Muted Horn 2018-05 getrunken. Das Ale ist gar nicht sonderlich harmonisch. Schwer definierbare Beerenfrucht und moderate Säure. Im Abgang ist der Fasseinfluss deutlich und wirkt adstringierend bitter.

Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Bright reddish-maroon pour with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart berry, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a salty blackberry character and notes of yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a lingering berry aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Draft 12 oz pour at Special Brews. Always stoked to track down a new Almanac on draft. A brighter, cherry red pour. Fresh berry, slight tart funk on the aroma. Cool, light, very refreshing. Juicy, and a good amount of tart going on here. Barely a hint of grains underneath the mixed berry. Drinks like a soft juice. Delicious.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey shared by DCLawyer, thanks Jason! Clear dark pinkish reddish color with off-white head. Aromas of light funk, berries. Tastes of berries, tart notes, light funk, tropical fruit. Light body with a dry finish. Very nice.
