This beer is named after our godson Quentin!!! This is a highly drinkable 7% Belgian Porter. This beer has great Belgian yeast expression with some great chocolate complexity.

18/XI/21 - 33cl bottle from the brewer, shared @ home, BB: n/a, bottled: 3/IX/21 (2021-1465)
Clear dark brown to purple brown beer, small creamy to aery beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: malty, grains, soft roast, some coffee. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, good roast, bitter, rather dry, hoppy, very malty, some cow fodder. Aftertaste: more roast, coffee, pretty malty, bitter, grains, rural character, nice old school porter!

11 September 2021. At Summer Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks, Klaas & Liesbeth, cheers to the whole crew! Thanks to the brewer for sharing this.
Hazy black, small, beige head. Aroma of prune, tobacco, cold coffee, smoked fig, toast. Taste has sweetish-sourish dried dark fruits, prune, raisin, berries, toasty maltiness & bitter coffee. Earthy hoppy finish with tobacco, some smoke, still fruity. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent Porter with typical 'Belgian' fruitiness.

Pours dark brown, smell is chocolate, fairly sweet, milder roast. Taste is full, roasty, sweet, chocolate, full aroma. Lower carbo. Nice! would entertain a full glass of this, as this rating is based on a sample on the gathering. It's one of the better ones we had, though . promissing stuff !

Bottle @ Belgian Summer Gathering Sept' 21, Evergem.
