Pours a dark dark brown to black, clear, not much foam. Scent is intense caramelly, hazelnut ( a bit ) , sugar. taste is full, very sweet, older chocolate, caramelly ( quite a bit) , hazelnuts are fairly hidden (given the name...) . Not my favorite in the series.

Sample thanks to Fergus: Poured a deep black with a light brown ring. Aroma is strong boozy, hazelnut, chocolate. Taste is high boost boozy, sticky, hazelnut, chocolate, smooth malts.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/01/21. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate dipped almonds, vanilla essence, toffee fudge. Taste comprises dark malts, brown sugars, chocolate melt, vanilla, honey, almonds, sweet tones. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sweet boozey kiss. Decent enough pastry affair ... sweetness doesn't get too high.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A dark sticky cola brown black coloured pour with a lasting pale tan head. Aroma is big hazelnut, sticky brown sugars, praline, raspberry whirl, vanilla and a biter chocolate edge. Flavour is composed of sticky sweet, bitter chocolate, some tangy raspberry ripple, praline, lingering bitter chocolate. Palate is sticky sweet, oily, lowish carbonation. Full bodied. Little weird perfume solventy thing in the finish.

Aus der Dose (bbe 05.10.2021) im 2020-12 getrunken. Kaum ist das Stout im Glas und schon explodiert fast schon ein Marzipan-Schokoladen-Aroma. Wow! Und ja der Name ..Praline...Truffles paßt auch sehr gut zu diesem flüssigen Nachtisch. Das hier ist fast schon kein Bier mehr. Aber nach hinten ist es natürlich ein Stout, aber keins was man jeden Tag trinken möchte, da die Aromen sehr fordernd sind und man so ein Bier nicht mal einfach so trinken kann und sollte.

Can, 10.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, nut, little milk chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, sweet, hazelnut, nut, lacto and a little bitter.
