Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear light medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, brown sugar, light roasted and caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, light rubber - plastic smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Not my kind of smoke. [20100320]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden with a small head. Aroma is slight phenolic and slight caramelish. Mild phenolic and dark breadish flavoured. Vague smoked note into a smooth malty finish. Subdued smoked.

Bottled. A golden-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel, as well as hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet with a distinct though subdued smoke note on a malty and caramel back ground, leading to a lightly smokey finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear dark amber with a beige head. Sweet caramel aroma with a baconish whiff of smoke. Medium body, sweet caramel and roasted malts, quite some smoke, diacetyl too before a very hoppy finish. 200310

Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had smoke, caramel andmalty notes. Flavourhad malty, caramel and smoked notes. Finished bitter from the grassy hops.

Amber colour. The aroma is hoppy with hints of breadcrust and caramel. Firm malty character leans towards caramel and metals with a healthy dose of hop dryness in the finish.

Swing top bottle. Brown color. Soft smoked cheese aroma. Malty flavor with some beechwood and smoked cheese notes. In the background, but nevertheless hard to ignore. Medium bodied. Pleasant brew.

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is smoked malts, some caramel malts, wood and some nice hoppyness. Flavour is smoked wood, caramel malts, some rather sugary notes. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is roasted with a hint of smoke. The smoke is very subtle, but it gives the beer flavour and character. Good maltiness as well.
