28th October 2023 Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy crisp palate. Fluffy pale malts, that slightly too sweet creamy sweetness that is for me, a Phantom hall mark. Sabro and Amarillo hops bring in that normal creamy coconut and slightly ripe pineapple. Touch of banana! Some floral citrus on the back end, peachy floral orange. Light pine. Light finish. Very quaffable, juicy hop goodness. If Phantom could just dial back the malt sweetness a notch or so... nonetheless a hop forward and very drinkable brew.

Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Mid-gold, hazy with a small white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma gives dill, candy sugar, apricot. Sweet taste, apricot to the fore with light notes of weak tea and candied orange. Medium body with carbonation on the heavy side. This is a decent beer if slightly odd.
