Thornbridge’s first ever Nitro beer is here! Ena is a smooth milk stout, brewed with an array of roasted malts and oats to give a beer full of rich coffee, chocolate and toasted flavours. Lactose, an unfermentable milk sugar, is added to the boil to balance the complex grain bill and give the finished beer a luxurious finish.

Draft at Beer Emporium, Bristol. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of cocoa, chocolate milkshake powder and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

250ml draught at the brewpub. Shared with Finn. Nitro beige head, black body with a deep ruby tint. Spotty lacing. Nicely roasted malty nose, semi sweet. Sweet chocolate flavours offset by a roasted ending. Smooth in the mouth. Nice. (Nydalen, Oslo 03.12.2018).

Draught @ Taphouse, Lavendelstræde 15, Copenhagen, Denmark 1462. [ As Thornbridge Ena ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark roasted, ash. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, burnt, ash, smoked, sweet malt, dark malt - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180311] 7-3-7-3-14

Fra fat på Nydalen Spiseri. Delt med Rune. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget tett skum. Teppelacing. Lett røykaroma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken lik aromaen. Litt sjokolade etter hvert. Vel søt.

On tap Friday 25th May 2018 at one of the Thornbridge bars, Bearded Theory Festival. Pours black with a slim off white head. Sweet but flavoursome beer, creamy but with a touch of chocolate and light coffee edge. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Tap at Druggists, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a long-lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, oats, liquorice, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a smooth rich, liqouirce, charcoal palate and a light oily mouthfeel. Medium to full bodied flat carbonation. Ok, but the liqouirce is a little overpowering and the beer lacks sweetness.
