Draught @ Malt & Mold. Hazy bright yellow with small frothy white head, faint bread aroma, high carbonation, sweetish malty taste with citrusy bitterness catching up, thin body, abrupt finish. Nice, not great.

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. So the brewer is going for a Hoegarrden clone? Cool.
Wheat base with hints of banana, light organe and os course coriander. Thankfully the coriander is downplayed. Carbonation is lightly fizzy. Overall the brewer nailed what they were after. OK.

Cityfresh Associated Supermarket, Bushwick growler: Pours pale yellow murk with white head. Aroma is light banana, citrus, spice. Taste is light wheatiness, with a slight sweetness and a bunch of spiciness. Not a very memorable beer, but what to expect from Kelso.

Called ’Kelso Wit’ at Momofuku Noodle Bar. Hazy blonde coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall, slightly soapy white head. Aroma of light spice, wheat, yeast, coriander seed, bubble gum and a hit of lemon and other citrus fruits. Medium-bodied; Nice wheat flavour at first with a perfect amount of spices, some mild yeast and banana notes and a bit of a honey sweetness at the end. Aftertaste shows a great balance of wheat, yeast and light spices with a nice sweetness and a cool finish - perfect for a spicy meal. Overall, a nice offering and despite not knowing it came from Heartland - a decent beer for sure. I sampled this pint on draught at Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York (East Village), New York on 13-July-2013 for US$7.00.
