Vom Fass Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-02 getrunken. Bei Triple IPAs hatte ich es recht oft wo statt eine Hopfenbitterkeit eine tolle Fruchtigkeit dominiert. Doch hier fehlt dieser deutliche Fruchtanteil. Der deutliche aber nicht übermäßige Hopfeneinsatz macht es aber nicht leicht trinkbar und mit seinen 9,1% ist es denoch gefährlich süffig.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and solid hops oily. Fruity, bitter, slight herbal. Dry, bitter and pine to grapefruity. Solid hoppy and fruity far finish.

Amber with little white head. Aroma is grapefruit, oil, crackers. Taste is spicy cracker malt with bitter finish. Medium drinkability. Hm.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Fast klare goldgelbe Farbe. Geruch sehr fruchtig hopfig, frisch, grasig. Geschmack grasig hopfig, sehr hopfig bitter, frisch, gut.

Can. Golden color with white head. Aroma is hoppy with peach, tropical fruits, petroleum. Taste is petroleum, hop oils, piney, resinous, caramel. Medium carbonation, warming finish. Nice!

Dark amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, slightly yellow head.
Aroma of peach, orange, grapefruit, grass, pine, herbs, caramel.
Tastes of grapefruit zest, biscuit, honey, herbs, orange, peach, some tropical fruits, some grass, booze.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, pretty dry, warm, a bit boozy, very zesty, subtly sweet.
Nice one, although not outstanding. Not fully balanced in my opinion, too much herbal bitterness and too boozy, drinks really heavy. Still nicely aromatic stuff, just not really how I prefer this style.
