330ml bottle (BB 01/24) from El Corte Ingles in Valencia, pours a somewhat clear brown with very little head. Aromas & tastes of toffee, caramel, wood, tobacco & malt. Moderate body. Smokey finish. Drinkable & somewhat enjoyable but not in very good condition.

Faintly greyish tinted pale cream head, medium, over reddish opaque brown beer. Phenolic, smoked herring, smoked ham, brown dry bread, hearth fire. Soft-sweet smoked beer. Again phenolic with a slight salinity. A bit vinous too, strangely enough. Chewy, very slick to oily feel. Soft carbonation, creamy. Not half bad! Thanks to Stef!

33 cl bottle, present from my sis =) A dark brown-copperish pour with greenish highlights and an ephemerous tan head. Aroma is quite conspicuous: smoke (indeed), bacon, red berries. Oily texture, not a lot of carbonation, slick, not very bitter. Long-lasting smoky finish.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 32A/6C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch MS0806 (BBF 10/2020). AROMA: medium-low smoke aroma with a slight background of malty-sweetness. APPEARANCE: light ambar color and clear. medium beige head with medium-low retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: medium smoke flavor with a low malty-sweet background. medium-low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a smoked bock with very little malt impression.

Ambar rojiza. Espuma escasa pero con pelicula duradera. Aroma ahumado y avinagrado. En boca es muy gaseosa, con predominio ahumado y notas acidas y frutales.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Carles @ NY Eve diner tasting in Verges. BB 04/2018, batch# MS0604. Cuivrée, col beige. Arôme est bien fumé, légère touche grillée avec petit rétro caramel, le tout reste sur une dominance fumée sans être surfaite. Palais est malté avec un excellent malt fumé accompagné par de fines notes caramel, touche de chocolaté, malt pils, amertume plutôt noble - citronné et léger côté vert - pomme caramélisée.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, meat, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, tart fruit, pale malt, sweet malt, smoked, meat - rubber. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170304] 6-3-5-3-10
