Whisper is our German-style Märzenbier! Brewed with German Pilsner, Munich, Cara Munich, and Vienna malts, it is fermented cool with a traditional Märzen yeast and then transferred to our horizontal stainless lagering tank for extended refinement and conditioning.
Featuring natural carbonation, a smooth body, and rich, characterful malts balanced by an ever-present kiss of noble hops, we find Whisper to be an ideal companion to crisp weather celebrations and companionship.
This is a beer we are immensely proud of and trust that you will enjoy it as much as we do—Pröst!

Charlton draught, 8/29/24. Clear honey-marmalade-amber. Small, off-white head. Strong herbal hops lead off, transitioning to light toffee and easygoing toast. Not tons of honey-like character (base malt), yet nor is it overrun with the Vienna/Munich. Likewise in the flavor. Amply malty, though drying considerably while adding toast and marmalade. Mild but appropriate bitterness. Clean, crisp, refreshing. Would like just a bit more malt depth, but it's a fairly minor quibble. Clean.

Can, from the Charlton location. Pours clear copper-amber with a foamy off-white head, faint malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter toasted malt taste, thin body, long toasted malt finish. Nice marzen.

16 oz. can. Nose has mostly malt with a touch of German hops. Body has a nice malty backbone with a light hop, crisp bitterness and a light earthy finish. Exactly as it should be.

Very solid marzen. Tea notes give way to sweetness from the malts with a balanced bitterness. Almost tastes oaked but is not, which is impressive.
