Can at inlaws’ flat in Sofia - picked up from Nosferatu. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige cap. Light sweet flavour with nice dry, ashy roast, bittersweet cocoa, scorched earth. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Dry finish with ashy bitterness, more baking cocoa. Quite enjoyable as session porter.

From tap at Juova Hanahuone, Helsinki, 10.06.24 after the last day of the Sysmus 2024 conference. Ebony. Brown head. Fine aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, a hint of liquorice and hops. Good drinkability.

Canned at the RBESG 23 grand tasting, huge thanks VastActiv for bringing this! Love the can design as well, kept it! Blackish brown body, beige head. Chocolate and citric notes in the aroma. Lovely taste, chocolate and light citric notes, ending perhaps vaguely soapy, but simply works overall. Feels like a by-the-book well made tasty beer!

Can at RBESG GT 2023. The english yeast in this one kinda bothers me, but overall it as nice fully malty dark one. Good. 3,4. Rerate at Pien, Helsinki. Quite nice, solid roastiness, quite bitter, but clean, without astringency. Medium grassy hops character. 3,8.
