Bottle from Landbierparadis. Purple-brown color with a thick head. Clear. Nose of chocolate, wood, caramel, cherries. Smoke is on the light side. flavors of chocolate, treacle, light smoke. Slightly roasty finish. A bit leafy and a bit too light in body. Decent but I was expecting more.

Smoked awesomeness. Has nice roasted malt, but the smoke takes the prices of course. Strong, yet smooth. Great beer.

Hummel-Bräu Räucherator, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin, mit MHD 18.6.2013, also schon 4 Monate abgelaufen. - Schönes Dunkelrotbraun. - In der Nase Karamel, leichtes Raucharoma wie von Geselchtem oder Schinken. - Im Antrunk breit-malzig und karamelsüß aber nicht dick. Das vergleichsweise leichte Raucharoma harmoniert perfekt mit der Süße. Den beträchtlichen Alkoholgehalt schmeckt man nicht; das Bier wirkt sehr süffig. Im Abgang leichte, etwas holzige Hopfenbittere und mehr salziger Rauch. - Erstaunlich leichter Rauchbier-Doppelbock, einfacher zu trinken als die wuchtig-aromatischen Erzeugnisse der Marke Schlenkerla, aber nicht schlecht. En fin rököl. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell. Syrlig och söt med toner av rök. Frisk och klar.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium brown color bock with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of medium smoked notes with light caramel malt notes is pretty satisfying. Taste is a great mix between some smoked malt notes with some solid notes of caramel malt with light residual sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well brewed and very sessionable if it wasn’t for the 8% ABV.

bottle from Kappldav - danke! Dark brown colour, mid-sozed beige head. Very smoky aroma. Full-bodied, malty with lots of smoke, hints of chocolate, a bitter finish and a warming touch of alcohol.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts malty and strong, quite dry. Bitter-hoppy background. Not as smokey as exspected. Finish more smokey, but also quite dry. This is a good beer, but I exspected a bit more.

Bottle.Hazy brownish colour with head.Aroma is smoked and sweet with taste of caramel,tosted malt and bread,nice well balanced beer with full body and good full mouthfeels,really tasty beer.

First Snowfall of the Season tasting in Odense. Bottled - has to be better on tap. Deep amber with floaties, lasting off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, with mild German smoke and a faint hint of butter. Dry and bready malty flavour with some smoke and a slightly sour finish

Bottle @ Local Tasting, Nov 2010. Pours amber red with a creamy stable head. Nose is rubber, smoke , bacon and phat caramel. Hints of butter. Flavor is carmale, smoke, dust and cabbage. Medium bodied. Some off notes... Disappointing. Would like to get it fresh from tap!
