Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 01.12.19. Cloudy pale golden. Persistent white head. Fine and astringent aroma and taste of gooseberries, rhubarb, brett and lambic. Acid and dry mouthfeel.

Crisp as a cracker, very stylish indeed and eminently drinkable.

Draught Small white rim; hazy pale ochre beer. Herbal, light fruity, even spicy nose. Hints of mineral, fishy notes. Sweet-sourish and fruity, spiced. Fruity esters' galore, not only sour as gooseberries usually end in beer. Low carbonation, slick but not very full-bodied. Long lasting flavours. Another nice fruitbeer from this Norwegian micro.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A hazy orange colored beer with a minimal sized offwhite head. The aroma is deliciously funky, with lots of gooseberry, a vague hint of something reminiscent of coffee and tea, wood, lemon, hay, grass notes, hints of bread and pale malts, and a generic citrus touch. It's full bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with lots of funky flavors. Barnyard, leather, lemon notes, tea and coffee, some grass and bread, lots of gooseberries and a touch of vinegar in the flavor, lasting for a good while. A delicious and wonderful beer. 191130
