Hana region malt, a double decoction mashing process, and six weeks of cold conditioning in Pivovar Clock’s cellars make this a recognizably Czech lager.
Bohemian Idols is Budvar’s first collaboration with a Czech microbrewery to be available outside the Czech Republic. Both Budvar and Clock are proud to fly the flag for Czech beer culture abroad together!

Can, danke Günther! Cloudy amber, offwhite cream. Citric hop nose. Very fresh hops despite being past its official BB date. Medium mellow body, mellow dry mouthfeel. Fruity base, citrus and apricot, light earthy notes, gooseberry, herbal earthy bitter backstop. Well balanced and quite drinkable.

Can 0.5l from first batch, expiration date 31.12.2021. No gusher :) Slightly cloudy, deep gold colored. AROMA- malty, bready, touch of dough, spicy, herbal, floral and flowery noble hops. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, bitter finish, really nice Saaz hops character, malty and bready backbone. Medium bodied. Great lager.

Plechovka (druhé hodnocení z Německa! Mimální trvanlivost do 31/12/21!): Pozor, gushing! Golden to deep golden, not completely clear, big and stable loose bleached head, pale malt and and peppery to citrussy hops in the distinctive bitter-sweet nose; nearly solid and quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, small malty base, light bodied and a bit fizzy; dry and lingering bitter (citrussy and peppery) finish with a small comforting amount of sweet pale malt in the aftertaste. Českému pivu zdar...

Can from Base Camp. Hazy orange-golden body, enormous, ginormous off-white head, going away fairly slowly, but this is insane man. Enormous flowery aroma, that weird flowery-fruity and citric-lemony Kazbek note is there in power, light dry grainy and honeyish-malty touches. Very pungent! Lean, dry taste, herbal, lightly flowery, some orange touches, lightly yeasty, big, huge bitter finish. Nice enough, not perfect, but a well made lager, standing above all other Budvar collabs so far.

Draught (O'Connor's, Uppsala) - Hazy light amber/orange. Fresh aroma with herbs, orange and tea. Herbal and grassy taste with notes of orange zest, bread and hay. The bitterness in the finish lingers in a pleasant way.
